Now covering Savannah

For businesses

Press that keeps working after the first week.

Ads stop the day you stop paying. A story about your business keeps showing up when people search your name, keeps linking to your website, and gives your customers something to share.

§ 01

What a feature gets you

A story that ranks for your name

When people search your business, they find a real write-up about you, not just your own site and a review page.

A link from a real publication

Every story links to your website from a site that writes about local business. That’s the kind of link search engines respect.

A badge for your own site

“As featured in” on your homepage or press page. Customers notice it, and it links back to your story.

Something worth sharing

A good story is easy to post, email and pin. Your customers share it, and their friends find you.

§ 02

Pick how often you want to be in the news

Free for businesses whose site we built. Month to month after that.

§ 03

How it works

  1. 1

    Tell us about it

Five questions, about five minutes. Or a quick call if you’d rather talk.

  2. 2

    We write the story

An editor drafts it from your answers and your website.

  3. 3

    You check it

We send it to you first. Anything wrong gets fixed.

  4. 4

    It goes live

Published with a link to your site, in your city’s section.

  5. 5

    You share it

Grab the badge, post the link, and send it to your regulars.

§ 04

A story vs. an ad

A paid ad

  • Disappears the day you stop paying
  • Looks like an ad, so most people scroll past
  • Every click costs you money
  • Nothing your customers want to share

A Cornerstone Pages story

  • Stays published and keeps linking to your site
  • Reads like a story, because it is one
  • Builds your name in search over time
  • Something you and your customers are proud to share
§ 05

Questions owners ask

Is a feature really free?

Yes, for businesses whose website we built: one feature story, a link to your site, and a badge, at no cost. We also write community stories about local businesses, churches and nonprofits we think people should know about, free and unasked. Other businesses can join with a paid plan.

Do I get to see the story before it runs?

Yes. We send you the draft and fix anything that’s wrong before it goes live.

Who writes the stories?

Our editors, from your answers, a conversation with you, and your own website. Some short news items are drafted with the help of software, and every story is checked by a person. We never invent quotes or numbers.

Will this help my Google ranking?

A story about your business on a real publication, linking to your website, is the kind of signal search engines look for, and it gives people searching your name more to find. Nobody can honestly guarantee a ranking, and we won’t.

What does “Sponsored” mean on paid stories?

Paid stories are labeled at the top and their links are marked as sponsored for search engines. That keeps the publication trustworthy and keeps your site on the right side of Google’s rules.

Can I cancel a plan?

Plans are month to month. Stories that already ran stay published.

Need the website first?

The websites behind our client stories are built by Chatham Web Design.

Fast, phone-first sites for local businesses, built to show up when people nearby search for what you do. Then we tell your story.
